We are pleased to say, that although not fully up and running, we have systems in place to ensure everyone’s safety, and are welcoming back many groups and activities.

South Bank Studios is also open, with artists in residence and we have begun to offer workshops. Many artists are also offering online workshops, so do check out the South Bank Studios website for details and links to the artist’s own pages.
Worship
Our Sunday 10:30am worship remains on Zoom, partly because of the practicality, and increased safety of doing so, but also because it allows us to offer a different style of worship, where we walk through the bible together interatively. We are joined in this by Acomb & Holgate Methodist church and many friends from around the UK.
We also make available a set of video reflections each week, on YouTube and Facebook, which you can watch at your convenience (scroll down for more info). We do, however, also meet physically each Wednesday at 2:30pm for a simple prayer service (when lockdowns allow), which is a smaller gathering.
To join in our Virtual Worship, do join us for ‘Zoom on Sunday’ (Virtual worship) – click on the image above for more information, or use the details below to join us online.

You are warmly invited to join us for our Zoom services hosted by Acomb, Southlands & Holgate Methodist church. Our next service, at 10:30am on the 10th January, is led by Rev Louise Grosberg, and will look at Acts 16:1-15 and the ministry of Lydia.
If you missed our last Covenant service on the 10th January, you can watch a reflection recorded after the service by Rev Andy Lindley here.
(you’ll find more Sunday’s on our You Tube channel or Facebook page). We also broke out for some family worship this week, and are continuing to offer this every two weeks.
For those who missed last week’s service, the following is our young family’s performance of ‘Wise Men’ and then following that ‘The Angel’ – the story of Gabriel visiting Mary. (you’ll find more Sunday’s on our You Tube channel or Facebook page).
And their While Shepherds watched from the Carol service
Mrs Victoria Etherington was leading the circuit service this Sunday. The circuit service is also available each week, at the same time as our Zoom, so if you would like to watch it live, or afterwards, then click subscribe and you will be sent a link each week. Feel free to join us, after our Zoom, for coffee. If you’d like to watch both, I will try and post them on this email each week.
Alternatively, if you’d like to worship with a contemporary service, then please find a link to our sister church, at Copmanthorpe.
Finally, our new family worship time ‘ONE Family’ met once again in December. If you missed it, and would like to engage, watch the enclosed video, and hopefully join us on the 12th January 6-7pm for the next live zoom!
