The Market Place [Community Bees]
Enterprise Market Community Bees will be holding an 'Enterprise Market' on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Southlands Methodist Church. The market will showcase individuals, with crafts, and homemade items, who are developing their home-businesses. Launched on the 10th of January 2019 - the newest affordable, inclusive cafe, opening for all of us, to help reduce food waste and put edible food on your plate ! Also loads of fresh produce will be available on a weekly basis. Divine Focus – Visual Worship
Divine Focus, is a time of worship where we use photographers, taken by our gathered group, as a way of unpacking scripture, and relecting on God. Each Month has a theme, and each person is encouraged to submit six photos prior to the meeting (which at present takes place on Zoom - details of the meeting published a week or so before each month). Find out more »Southlands Concern (Prayer Meeting)
Our vision for the church is that all our activities are underpinned by a rhythm of prayer and worship. A small group meet weekly, in Room 1 to pray for one another, our church, our community and the wider world. This informal time of prayer is open to all who are interested and lasts around 30 minutes. The service is followed by light refreshments. There is no need to book, simply turn up, and we'll show you the ropes!
